Tsukuru and his classmates were taken to another world on a typical school day.On the other side of the summoning was a hero's auction in which nations competed to win the heroes needed to defeat the demon kings in their respective territories. Tsukuru was awarded the useless job of "Chef" while his classmates were given bribes and quickly sold on the auction block.He was kicked out of the ship through a transfer gate after no nation offered him a bid.Tsukuru begins his journey toward becoming the strongest when he manages to withstand the attacks of powerful monsters while nearly dying on the other side of the gate.
